PROJECT

YEAR

2020

This project's aim was to display the uniqueness of the different street addresses found mainly in my hometown, but also where I currently live. It was fascinating to get a closer look at the placement and design of the number in comparison to the architecture of each house. The main challenge was having to choose between so many fun designs to showcase in my catalog.

LOCATION

PROCESS

This catalog was designed using black and white photography combined with vector drawings. This choice was I made due to wanting to show the house numbers in their original form while clarifying with the vector drawing. It created a contrast of a serious feel to the photography with a more playful feel with the colours combined with the vector drawings.

I decided to split the house numbers into three sections, deciding the colour that would correspond with their design. The intro to each new section was just a layout introducing all of the numbers in mini houses, almost making them look like little neighbourhoods. The goal of these pages was to indicate the true uniqueness that can be found, even within only a small section of the house numbers.
